interesting how trustworthy the elected ones are
Several Uni students have contacted me because they voted Liberal due to each Liberal pariamentary candidate ( Including Mr Clegg) signed pledge and their PROMICE to support students and the student loans issue
How quickly they forget- it seems that the Promices in the Liberal manifesto have been scratched out of the Coalition manifesto….

I wish the new Cons/Lab pact well (for all our sakes), will be interesting to see if being a co-ilition politicians with specific party beliefs and principles – can stay at the table without selling their party soles.

It’s about time we had a ‘real’ MP, who can stand up for local people on both local and national issues. I am completely disillusioned with the major parties, as there seems to be no discernible difference between the 3.

At last!! A communication from someone other than a party hack.
It seems their ideas of campaigning is to attack the other guys, never mind the issues.
I’ll vote for you mate.
Good Luck

Met 2 young gentlmen at Garforth station today.
They were waiting for a train to go and sign-up with the RAF.
As an ex-forces person I was proud of them for their decision , but when I asked why? One of their reasons was that although they were both in employment, they could not see any job prospects of career development opportunities in the surrounding area.
This is becomming a bigger issue as I go around

Several people have contacted me about the lack of investment in the digital economy, and widespread regional high speed broadband connections.
Scarborough for example has a 200Mb access as they realise that their rural location means that their future is highly dependant on the digital connection.
Whats your view about Elmet & Rothwell, does anybody know where this area sits with BTs intentions to have Clouds over Cities?

The Saturday edition of the Yorkshire Evening Post within the 24/7 Weeks TV & Entertainment guide THURSDAY has a Reminder to Vote Independent advert
Obviously its missed the postal voters but there are still a large number of voters who still go to the local polling station, and equally some who are still undecided.
It is estimated that if all the Undecided, Floating and switching voters all voted it would out -weigh the main party votes
